What do I do if event viewer says "uiautomationcore" caused the fsx crash?

Recommended Posts

I've been dealing with a number of problems, and one of them is a frequent CTD, which seems to point to the uiautomationcore that is supposed to fix crashing from clicking too many things on fsx, should I remove it and replace it, or remove it and see if fsx runs better without it?

Supposedly there are 2 different versions of the "Vista" UIAutomationcore.dll.  I'll see if I can find

links for both.

Vista one, v.6.0.5840.16386  Still looking for a link to this version.

Version 6.0.6001.1800

  • The most likely reason is that the post was off topic.
  • The topic could also have contained images or a video that were not appropriate to the original forum it was posted in.
  • The images might not have been "illustrative" or "explanatory" in nature.
  • The topic could have been moved because we deemed it to be more appropriately placed elsewhere.
