Ok. Pedals work fine. The right foot brake has stopped working. I have isolated the issue to the potentiometer as I have taken a working one off my buddies set and it fixed my issue. Contacted madkatz/saitek and they said they do not have spare parts available. So if I cannot track down the h100 100k potentiometer my only option is to replace the entire unit. Does anyone have a place I can purchase one or do any of you have a discarded set laying around that I could buy this part off of? Stinks to throw down 150 bucks for a single part. Thank you in advance for any guidance.

I wonder what the range is on the radio shack unit. Apparently the ones in the controller are designed give full actuation within 60 degrees of movement. Meaning you would get a 100 percent throw in the short distance the brake pedal moves using the ones they put in the unit.

I have this same issue with the left toe brake. My yoke and throttle quadrant are in a box because they are unusable. I keep hearing more and more of these issues around Saitek gear. Many reports of noisy jittery yokes and throttles just like mine. Cheap parts and high price. So my solution is to stop buying it.

Thanks but those won't work as they do not have the 65 degree to 100% actuation.  Saitek got back to me and said that the units arrive in the US assembled and they do not sell the individual parts.  They also said that the potentiometer was specifically designed for that unit, so aftermarket random ones will not produce the same desired braking effect.  Great....really not in the mood to throw down on another set.  I got 8 years out of these so I guess that is not so bad.  Anyone know of any other rudder pedal solutions besides saitek that are affordable?  Thanks for the help all.
