Potential R6025 Error Isolated in latest RAASPRO.dll

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I just posted on Aerosoft's Twin Otter section regarding potential R6025 crash issues created with AS-FlightRecorder.dll when doing an aircraft reload.  During that testing, I also encountered that the latest RAASPRO.dll also causes R6025 crash when the aircraft is reloaded.  I tested with all DLL's disabled and having only RAASPRO.dll active - I was able to reproduce the crash over and over the very second I reloaded the aircraft.

RAASPRO.dll version is 1.3.2.60

I have aircraft reload hotkey set to "Ctrl + ,"

If you want me to email me, just pm here on who to email.  I did in the past test out your DLL's for P3Dv2.2 in Aug (Bryan knows).

I know this is not a showstopper bug, because RAAS works flawlessly, but if someone reloads an aircraft - then there is a potential R6025 crash in P3Dv2.4.  I need you guys and others to confirm my findings.

Thanks,

Skywolf

PS - Here is the list of DLLs on my system, and I tested all of them in isolation.  All products listed are updated to their latest including the latest FSUIPC 4.937 released yesterday, with Windows 8.1 x64 fully patched latest etc.

And if you want to read the thread about Twin Otter's DLL Crash - please see my post at aerosoft's forums

Someone should make me a permanent beta tester of these products, if my testing is right :P

Hey Bryan,

I did test that dll, and yes it was gone in 2.2 or was 2.3, but it looks like it resurfaced in 2.4.

Do you want me to email you directly - I have your previous emails during 2.2-2.3 test.

Thanks

I get 100% P3D crash when doing flight reset -Ctrl+;

Is it the same bug?

Just curious if adding this line makes any difference?

In your Prepar3D.cfg

[MAIN]
AlwaysFullLoad=1

I and other's have reported the Vehicle Selection bug to LM ... where selecting more than about 3 or 4 (maybe 5 or 6 pending one's current load) aircraft will trigger an OOM.  My guess (and that's all it is) is that aircraft resources are not being fully released which could be related to this issue also.

Is RAASPro still 2 channel only?

Cheers, Rob.

Yep, It happens on reset also, forgot to mention that.

Reset/Reload

Ok. I disabled RAASPRO and it no longer crashes.

Thanks!
