REX Support forums up?

Recommended Posts

I can't login.  I've a valid account, and just reset my password, but signing in to the forums takes me to a blank web page.

Anyone have the same issue?

Since I'm here... anyone had a SQL error with the REX auto-update program?

I read at their Facebook page that they've been hacked and thus the forum is down. No sensible data was apparently leaked. Should be up in a matter of days.

Thanks for the replies.

This makes sense.  I just tried again and I get a pop-up web page with some Russian web address.

Time to run an AV scan...

The hack was only initiated on the support forum, NOT our software/servers. It was apparently due to an invulnerability with the IP Board forum software.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, and have someone working on it.

Good to see the core system being unaffected then. Hope you are up and running the forums soon, Tim.

It was a joke, Tim.  You meant vulnerability, I know, but you added an "in-"... my smily was meant to make it clear I was being ironic.  Sorry if it fell flat.

I was wondering where that Russian web page came from! I should have realised that something dodgy was going on.

Our forum software has been hacked as stated above.

or hitting the autoupdate from rex 4

That's not possible, our autoupdate system is not tied in to our support forum.
