nVidia's DSR Feature in Practice

Recommended Posts

Well relevance in the sense that it works for FS9 too, but wether you want to use it is another question.

I've tried it, found it to not be any better than the 4x MSAA + 4x SGAA I'm usually running, so I decided not to bother any more.

OK.

Official nVidia driver 344.48 supports DSR  for Fermi and above ... that is essentially 500 series cards and above.

Even lowly 1Gb  cards can take advantage,  particularly old games.

I've tried FS9 (of course), P3D 2.4, TrainSim 2015 and Medal of Honor Pacific Assault all with excellent results.

It's something for nothing folks ... give it a go.

I installed the 344 drivers but couldn't find the option in the control panel for DSR. Also how does that work with Nvidia Inspector? I have a 650 GTX card but maybe its because I'm still running XP?. I suspect that's the reason because I can't use Nvidia Shadowplay. I tried playing with the settings a bit but I still couldn't get it to look as good as the 310 drivers I've been using forever.
