Cessna 310, Nav/Strobe Wing Fix

Recommended Posts

I love the Cessna 310. I only have one little issue. When in the air, in the PIC seat, if I look left I see the Nav I Strobe bleeding through the wing. This happens in DX9 or DX10 mode.

Is there a fix to this?

I've never noticed this myself, but I'll take another look when I get a chance to do so. Since you mention DX9 and DX10 I have to assume you are talking about the FSX version.

I have been unable to duplicate this on three different computers under FSX or P3Dv2.

ClipModeMinimum entry in the camera.cfg?

Never played with this setting.

What do you recommend?

I have been unable to duplicate this on three different computers under FSX or P3Dv2.

I'll post a pic. This is the known FSX bug.

Indeed.  I see this on some other FSX aircraft as well, including the B55.

Open the Cameras.cfg file and add the entry to it...

Will give this a try - thanks!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have just made my day. Now I don't see the dreaded bleed through on any plane.

Ditto.  Just had a nice flight in the B55 with NO bleedthrough.  Thanks much, Fr. Bill!

I made this entry in my Cameras.CFG file years ago, which is why of course I could not duplicate the reported problem. Thanks should go to Jon for jogging my memory, as frankly I had completely forgotten this "tweak..."
