Gents-

Earlier in this thread I told you very directly that we will not entertain discussion of Lockheed Martin's EULA.

I have removed a half dozen posts from this thread on that same topic since making that post.  Posting in this thread that you don't think it should be discussed, and then continuing for three paragraphs explaining your opinion is not compliance with my request.

If it continues, I will simply ban the individuals involved.

Again- if you have questions about Lockheed Martin, please take them to Lockheed Martin.  If you have an opinion, please post it elsewhere as we are not going to entertain the discussion here.

(There are legal reasons for this- so please don't test the limits of my patience.  I will be more inflexible than normal on this topic because it involves lawyers.)

The Captain has spoken and I could not agree more...crews, prepare the cabin for arrival at P3D_PMDG....Wooohaaa!

crews, take your seat and prepare the cabin for arrival

How can the flight attendants prepare the cabin if the captain has 'em seated?

I am definitely looking forward for pmdg support of P3D, the T7 is the only reason I still have FSX installed on my desktop.

John

May i ask a question Robert / Team?

Do you see VAS improvements running the 777 in P3D over and above FSX?

Also as an aside are AMD cards better supported?

Ian R Tyldesley

I know nothing about P3D. I watched several Youtube videos on it and to me it all looks the same.

My question is.  If I am running FSX, with so many  the addons like many FlyTampa airports, PMDG 737, 747, 777, FSUIPC, REX, Ultimate Traffic, ASN, SB4 for Vatsim, on and on, is it really worth it so start an entire new platform with P3D??

What does P3D have over FSX now? Can you use P3D for Vatsim flights?

Paul Gugliotta

"Initially PMDG will offer only the Individual User Non-Professional/Non-Training license on P3D.  It is anticipated this license will fall in the sub $200 range.  This license tier will not require an annual support contract."

Looks nice, but it'll be a cold day in a certain place before I pay more money for the same plane I spent $90 (which isn't cheap by the way) on just because it's in a newer sim!!

Looks like this will be the final nail in the coffin of my FSX install, once PMDG products are converted to P3D!

Thanks for the preview Robert ... the B777 looks really amazing

Please give existing PMDG 777 a discount or trade-in for P3D

FlyTampa converted most of its products for free.  FSUIPC and REX work under P3D.  vPilot for Vatsim works perfectly.  ASN has a P3D version under the same license.  Basically, you'd have to upgrade PMDG only.

What it has?  It's absolutely jaw-droppingly beautiful.  It's immersive to a whole new level.  I will not hesitate a second to put money to upgrade my PMDG T7 to P3D, even if it's $50.

It was stated a couple of times that a (time-limited) promotional price to change your platform is likely to be offered.

Aerosoft didn't charge for the A320 to be used in P3Dv2 nor does Orbx nor does Carenado. $50 is a lot for the same plane I already have and is working fine in FSX which is where it the NGX and J41 will likely stay. I understand they can't give the upgrade away but $20-$30 would be a lot more reasonable.

I know, but PMDG is officially licensed by Boeing.  It means they can't exactly give licenses away.  This is somewhat out of their hands.

Besides, if you're satisfied with the FSX version, no one forces you to upgrade.  If you feel like the price is too high, simply don't upgrade!

My only hope is to be able to 'change' platforms, ie deactivate my FSX license and give me a P3D license, and that we won't be 'penalized' for having bought the FSX version as opposed to someone who waited for the P3D version.  Then again, I think that if PMDG has its way, they will be fair to their loyal customers.

I am really quite excited to see the PMDG 777 in P3D! Its been a long time coming, but it appears that the wait has been well worth it. Once you guy's move the 777 to P3D then I am digging a 6 feet grave and putting FSX into that grave. I am done with FSX and its constant problems, P3D is the way forward. I look forward to the release day of the 777 P3D version and what ever the cost I am purchasing it without hesitation! Thank you!

but if you are planning a long haul flight in the PMDG 777- I recommend stripping your scenery down to the stuff you know will interact with your flight- and turn the rest off...

I wish there was a good utility tool that that is good.. Yes...there are some tools out there...but they are not very user friendly...

It would be one tool I would buy and pay good bucks for,
