I wouldn't make assumptions without being able to see what's going on behind the scenes.

Aren't you a beta tester?

Aren't you a beta tester?

I won't pin a title on it at the moment, but I can see what's going on. Others cannot, which is why I cautioned against making assumptions about the process. I won't make any comments about said processes - those updates come from RSR himself - but I will say that getting upset about assumptions of what is or isn't going on behind the scenes is neither logical nor productive.

As I've stated multiple times, silence does not mean there is no progress.

...and we all know what they say about assumptions.

...that they are common on internet forums populated by passionate people who care for their hobby?   :P

I was hoping the FS9 1900C/D addon would be redone for FSX and P3D. I can dream I guess. It's much more popular in the real world than the JS41. Would be nice to have a realistic sim of this great airplane in fsx/p3d!

Dear Mr Kriva,

Thank you for your kind input, and my conclusions are:

For something to be "on track", there needs be a defined reference point, let alone hints - otherwise the track is meaningless.

It would be more accurate to state that development is progressing, but we knew this already - hence the drum rattling.

Scince yesterday, pmdg have realease photos of research work being done on the 747, and in the absence or an ETA, that's a lot better than nothing - as many people are interested in its progress.

Have a great weekend.

Well all I will say is that you cannot be testing the fuel transfer systems like RSR said he was doing a few weeks ago without a pretty well function aircraft otherwise, now can you :-).   I don't think we are that far off.   I think we may be getting the first previews near Christmas time.

Kind regards

You are using the 777-200 icon for the 77-300 expansion package.

It'll be fixed before release...

Ok so can it be changed now? LOL...only kidding :)

Wow, just wow... I've been 'playing' sims since the Microprose days, and I thought the genre was dead by now. I've recently purchased FSX and 737NGX and I enjoy flying around on VATSIM but the occasional CTDs spoil the fun.

I am really looking forward to the P3D+737NGX combo, and I am totally prepared to pay for it.

On question in advance: how 'current' are the P3D airfields? A vanilla FSX install needs a lot of addon scenery, some of them of questionable quality, and often inflicting a large FPS hit.

Again: this news makes me very, very happy!

Not to push blame around, but if you're using SquawkBox, the CTD issue is more related to that product than the NGX.

The fix is to run SB from the Start Menu instead of through the FSX menu.
