The feeling of speed in the air

Has anyone being in the cockpit of an real airplane and discovered the speed descending in the clouds ?

 

Does not feel the same way in simulation though allthough REX4 seems better to me in the NGX for instance,

Its because the clouds arent in 3D and they spin as you go past them.
