777 configuration manager

Recommended Posts

Well I added the 777 pmdg to my list of fs2crew programs and I have  a few questions;

The download placed a icon on the desktop titled "CONFIGURATION MANAGER" and when I clicked it said that the subject had been moved to a new location and that my "SHORTCUT" was no longer in action and did I want to delete it?  I clicked YES and away it went and I haven't got a clue where to go to find it.

I assume Bryan knows the answer or anyone else is most welcome to answere this dumbos query/

I have no idea what happened there.

But you can access the FS2Crew Config 777 Manager via:

Start - All Programs - FS2Crew 2014

You can load it directly from:

Microsoft Flight Simulator X\FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG777\FS2Crew777.exe

Once you located  it in your start menu you can simply  make  a short cut  for it  to your desktop if you desire to for easier access

Bryan and Pete,

I am not finding it in my start menu.  It was there initially after downloading but when I told the popup YES , delete the shortcut, it disappeared from my start menu but then came back on my desktop where it is still and is still telling me that "FS2Crew777exe" has been moved or changed and the SHORTCUT will no longer work and do I want to delete it?

I don't know how to find it with Bryan's "Micr...................777exe" reference.  Please provide me the steps to follow direction, I am a computer doofus.

Leon,

No idea what OS(Operating System) you are using.

So, here goes. If you are using Windows 7,go to Start-All Programs--follow the drop down list till you see FS2Crew2014. If you do not see that, then you have not installed it correctly. If you do see it, open it to a further drop-down sub-menu and your FS2Crew 777 Configuration Manager should be in there. Then right-click to Send to; wherever you want to send it to from the list there.

Just do a Windows file search for the file: "FS2Crew777.exe".

Right click on that and create a short-cut.

But I think your Norton is to blame.  Make sure it is fully off all the way then re-install FS2Crew.

Bryan got the config mgr. to operate by redownloading program, but it is not as obvious in how to use as the B747 and 767 joint efforts nor the Ifly737.

Thanks for your help.
