Destination Gate Allocation

Recommended Posts

Hello again,

Just a very minor point, but now I've got MCE/RC4 running so well together, I'm afraid I'm getting picky!

How do I get the ground controller at the destination to direct me to "Gate XX" rather than just "XX"?

I've tried entering "Gate XX" in the Controller Info box but Ground then directs me to "Golf Alpha Tango Echo XX" !!!

If it's an easy trick, please let me in on it !

Many thanks.

Just enter the gate / stand number and whatever you enter will be enunciated.

Enter B14 and "Bravo fourteen" will be enunciated. From memory you can't get it to say "Gate" as some are gates and some are stands.

Thanks, Ray.

Just trying to make it (even) more realistic.

When I lived in London, I was lucky enough to be able to hear both Heathrow & Gatwick on my air band scanner and I'm sure they used to say "Gate"  or "Stand" rather than just the number.

But not to worry, I still think RC4 is better than sliced bread!
