fo test wxr = fsx crash

Any answers to this problem yet?  Very concerned.  Want to use preflight.

The problem is in the PMDG 777 itself.  Based on what I read in the PMDG forum, it's some weird Vista memory issue.

FS2Crew V1.1 will add an option so the Weather test is not run.

 

ETA on V1.1:  Next week.

Not a single issue since first install when the FO does his weather radar check as part of his flow. Not using ASN.

I am having the same issue here.  System will crash (showing FSX fatal error) when FS test the wxr.

Running on Vista

I have the latest version of ASN.

However FSX will not crash when the FO test the wxr when ASN is not running.

Any idea?

That is part of the FO's flow after he comes back from his walk-around, and I too, with no weather engine, have no issues. Do not see where the PF tests the wxr to cause a CTD.
