All garmin GPS are really similar. If you can use the G500 that is default, then with about 20min of playing, you will have that 430 mastered. And the wx radar doesnt have to be used. Its optional but nice to have. Turn it on, tilt it up or down untill it picks up the weather. Then just adjust the tilt when needed. If you get it, read the first few pages about the avionics and you will get what im talking about. :):-wave

It comes with both liveries (in several flavors).It is a great cross-country IFR plane, as well as a great VFR plane because of the canopy... altogether one of the very best FS2004 planes, period.
