MSVCR80.dll Crash

Recommended Posts

I've heard of this cropping up and a search of the forums doesn't really yield any solutions that are working for me. It'll happen as soon as I move my controllers (throttles), which are all programmed through fsuipc.

I've had to add MSVCR80.dll to my system32 directory because it was missing, and causing problems loading Flight1 (coolsky) DC9- this was directed by their forums- I'm not sure if it's the cause of my new crash or not, because removal of this module from system32 causes my DC9 not to load.

I found quite a few instances- in order to remove them (Since they are always in use, and locked) I guess I'd have to boot into safe mode?

Also- the links that you posted seem to redirect back onto this forum topic?

Thank you so far for your help

Sounds like you have User Access Controls turned on. Disable and try to uninstall again. You will to remove the 2005 version only. Nothing else as your error does not include anything else.
