FSPS P3D Fiber Accerlator; We have to repurchase?

I have to quote myself...

 

 

It took us 4 months to do it instead. Well you can figure out if it is the same thing or something new... Some say P3D and FSX is the same. Well for scenery or some aircraft designers this can be the case. Playing with the graphics IS NOT.

 

Way different - free would not make sense

If some of you switch car brands do you expect your old tires to work on your new car?

 

Being spoiled from backward compatibility is showing it's ugly head here.

FSX and P3D are not the same model, just as FSX and XP10 are not the same model.

I guess it's the price of running two different simulators at the same time. Sounds like running two cars, and that's a pain in the ....

Can I join you, Julian, having just bought P3D, pondering was it worth it if this is the scenario? I'll bring the bait!!

FSX and P3D are not the same model, just as FSX and XP10 are not the same model.

 

FSX and XP10 are definitely not the same model.. but I'm sure there's a LOT of similiarity between FSX and P3D.. otherwise.. Orbx/Carenado/Aerosoft wouldn't allow you to install to either or..

Planes and scenery, yes. Kind of like switching floor mats from car to car.

 

Programming, no.

 

If you don't want to pay, then don't.
