Before Start Checklist - Trim Verbiage (Voice)

Bryan,

The other day during the Preflight Checklist, I could not get the FO to acknowledge my trim setting of "2.75 units 0 & 0".  I was pronouncing it clearly and had no other voice recognition anomalies.  Finally I tried verbalizing "2.7 units 0 & 0" and the FO recognized it immediately and continued with the checklist

 

My theory is the 2nd decimal number (5) is not understood in this particular command.  Can this be looked at for v1.1?

That is correct.

 

Only read the trim to one decimal point.

 

The trim value you are reading is the value you can see on the pedestal, not the FMC.

 

 

So say like "4 point 0 units...."  "4 point 5 units"... etc.
