I think you may be in for some work!  From what I can find out there in "search land"  It sounds like

a combination of reconfiguring a camera view,  possibly your aircraft.cfg,  redoing your

default flight and using that new camera view at your start up.

Simply place your default plane in the view you want then set it as the default flight, all other planes will open in that view.

Ezdok may affect that, I don't use it so not sure

More work than it is worth, in my opinion, especially if you have add-on aircraft that work best when the default flight is set to KSEA in the default C172.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I just tried that and it is a no go!  I even deleted my default flight and started with the Friday Harbor

scenario and re set my desired aircraft for cold and dark and adjusting the view for Spot View,

then saved as default Flight.  Starting up a second flight with a different aircraft and different

location still starts in the cockpit, in my case, the 2D as per settings.  It will take more work

than just redoing your default flight.
