777 has tiled/grainy panel at night

Recommended Posts

I googled for it, but found no clues. I don't know if it's due to DX10, but I have a quite grainy panel textures at night, most notably on the DUs and all other lit (flood light) areas. Any information regarding this?

Thanks.

This depends highly on your graphics card settings, but also on your zoom level (see Moire pattern).

I believe that's typical of the way GDI+ blends the cockpit lighting textures used?

Graphics card settings the highest possible, and zoom is 1 (neutral). Thanks.

I did not experience it with either my old ATI or current NVIDIA. Verify you set WideAspectView to true in your fsx.cfg per recommendations in Introduction document.

Yes I did, since day 1, as I have a widescreen monitor.

Maybe it's related to the flood lighting really... During daylight it's not distractive.
