November 4, 201411 yr Hi I purchased the Samsung 4K UHD TV and connected it to the HDMI output on my GTX 770 3840x2160) to the TV's HDMI input using an HDMI-HDMI cable. FSX runs fine in windowed mode, with lots of vertical screen tearing. In full-screen, the screen repeatedly flickers between full black and the desktop. How can I fix the vertical tearing in windowed mode, and get full-screen to work? I have FPS locked at 30 (also tried 20), nvidia inspector has Adaptive Vsync on, and Vsync forced on (also tried "Enable the 3D application setting" and "1/2 refresh rate".) I previously used an LG 23" LCD at 1920x1080 with zero tearing in full screen mode. Thanks for reading.

November 4, 201411 yr I have a regular Samsung HD TV I'm using and, for whatever reason, my sim crashes when I go to full screen. I always figured it was a setting or something in my sim. Never thought to think about the monitor. It's never mattered much to me since I prefer windowed mode but, still, it's not a good thing. November 4, 201411 yr Make sure you're using a Cat II (aka "high speed") HDMI cable. Some of the cables designed for older specs (pre HDMI 1.4)--especially long ones over 5m in length--aren't going to be able to reliably carry full HDMI 1.4 (i.e. 2160p30) bandwidth. I suspect cable issues are *really* going to rear their heads when HDMI 2.0 starts coming into vogue for people wanting 4K@60Hz.
