More than 10 joystick devices ... ?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys - and ladies if there are some ..

I am now using LINDA for years and never had any problems. I am also used to the manual.

But as i started to add 2 more digital gamepad devices the trouble starts ...

I have 16 gamepad devices overall conected to my flight rig.

01 G940 Flightstick

02 G940 Throttle

03 G940 Rudder

04 Saitek X52 Pro

05 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (M-Pad1)

06 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (M-Pad2)

07 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (OHD11)

08 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (OHD12)

09 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (OHD21)

10 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (OHD22)

11 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (OHD31)

12 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (OHD32)

13 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (P-Pad1)

14 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (P-Pad2)

15 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (G-Pad1)

16 Digital Gamepad via Arcaze USB Board (G-Pad2)

Nr 15 & 16 are new devices that i added to extend my homecockpit. These two pads wor in USB device setup of windows and the re button light up if any buttons are pressed or encoders are turned.

LINDA also recognizes these two pads and shows up the buttons that are pressed. So i started to configure everything and startet FSX after ...

So my problem is now that everything works like ever but Nr. 15 and 16 not even they are right configured and present.

Is there a limit of controlers for LINDA ?

I tried out everything and they are also recognized by FSX - i tested it in the settings. Already tried changing usb ports.

Why is LINDA not sending the configured actions to FSX ?

Thanks for your time and help

Have you tried removing one of the new devices? I can't check at the moment but a maximum of 16 seems logical (0-15). I see you are using 2 joysticks. Do you need both?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes i normaly need two Sticks - one for CPT side and one for the FO (my little daughter).

I already tried to unplug the Saitek X52 pro but somehow LINDA seems not to like that last usb module.

I will investigate further on my notebook. Maybe it is sucking windows 8.1 64. There are also issues with the new power saving modes of windows 8. I already deactivated power saving for usb in summary and all the single devices ... Maybe i should go back to win 7 64

I will post what the notebook results are ...

Ok the same mess on my notebook - I can assign an action via fsuipc and this works fine. But no chance with linda. Does anybody know about the actual limits of devices linda can handle ?

Ok - we dig into it - Actual limit for Devices is 32 (0-31) Will post the solution if we got it.
