Pacific Island Sim Sale

Recommended Posts

RPLL is excellent and recommended.

No AI traffic installed by default, but using the free WOAI populates the airport.

No ooms and little impact on fps, great for PMDG products. Manilla is the best value scenery on the market , nothing comes close to the amount of detail and coverage area for $28

frame rate impact for Manilla product?

I would say its around 30% less compared to their other airports . I have just taken off in the pmdg 777 all sliders full right except autogen very dense and water HIGH 2x.

Im getting 15-18fps on the ground but IM 95% maxed out. Im ok with it because its smoooooth..

The big deal here is during climb my VAS is only 3000 which is amazing for the level of detail and the surrounding city and its the T777

It depends on your system. The product was tested on low to medium systems to gauge full extent of fps impact and smoothness using all types of aircraft. Average was/is 40, but as Zoran stated, it is darn smooth from any angle, including from within cockpit. In fact, fps was not the issue that we were concerned about during production, but smoothness/fluidity. See customer feedback here:

Toktok,

I did not know you work for Pacific Island Sim.   I have two great sceneries from your company. They are Jeje and one airport in Mexico.  Both of them work very well in my laptop.

I am just curious to know if your new RPLL scenery is more memory intensive because it includes city of Manila.

Regards,

Aharon

Aharon,

If you have both sceneries and they work OK on your system, then it would be fluid also despite the whole Manila city. Perhaps a couple of fps lower than both products you already have. The Justflight discount offer will have ended by the time you read my response, but don't worry we will have another sale coming up for the Black Friday/Christmas Holiday season real soon. That is, if you are still interested in purchasing RPLL and other products.

I absolutely love Pac Islands Sim sceneries.  Graham turns these locations into polished gems.  RPLL is a tad harder on frames as compared to all the other PIS releases, but well worth purchasing.

I'm really looking forward to the Taipei release and hoping one day to see Naha (ROAH) on the beautiful island of Okinawa as one of their future projects.

Hint, hint Graham B)

I have two great sceneries from your company

I'd enjoy seeing your DC-4 flying over Manila Aharon!

Toktok,

Thanks for your honesty!!  My two sceneries Jeje (spelling) and Puerto Vallarta airport work well in my laptop and you are right that Manila airport scenery might be little bit more memory resource intensive than those two sceneries.

Looking forward to your holiday sales!!

Regards,

Aharon

Bob,

Oliver Pabst (AES creator) already has the Nagasaki files, so yes it will have AES support.
