FPS Limiter

Recommended Posts

Curious... I just started using FPS Limiter, and though my stutters have improved, I really don't see an improvement in FPS.  Anyone out there still using this program can tell me if this is normal? I use a batch that loads the program.

echo off

cls

cd c:\ASNext_FSX

Start ASNext.exe

Pause

cd c:\Microsoft Flight Simulator x

Start FPS_Limiter.exe /r:D3D9.dll /f:25 /x:off /l:off

"%pathc%"fsx.exe

Pause

Exit

I tried a couple of external limiters, never could see any difference in performance.  I generally use the FSX limiter set to 30 fps, but sometimes I get the best and smoothest performance with FSX set to unlimited.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Antilag external limiter gives me the best performance in Fsx. Better than Nvidia inspector or the fsx internal limiter
