Problem with Los Angeles Scenery

Recommended Posts

So recently i found out that ive been flying around with this problem without me noticing:

I recently Bought FTX Palm Springs and i didn't notice this problem before i bought it.

I also have some Scenery installed for the Los Angeles area but I have no idea where the location of it is and can't find it to remove it.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. thanks

This is documented in the FTX support forums.

Glen, some of us, like myself, come here because we are banned from the Orbx forums and only have access to the limited user support forum.  So we have to come come here for help.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Hi guys,

This indeed is correct, it's a mistake on my end in an attempt to remedy a clash with KPSP. I'm away for the next week on holidays but will be working with the team once I'm back on deck to find a proper solution to this issue, but in the mean time those instructions again:

1. Go to your ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_CVX\scenery folder, and find the file named 1619_WTR_Waterbodies.OFF

2. Rename this file to 1619_WTR_Waterbodies.bgl

3. This will resolve the (far more important) coastline/waterbody issue, however the trade-off will be that the KPSP airport bagge tunnel will have a terrain clash.
