Fatal Error message on startup

Recommended Posts

Been flying with FSX for a long time with many addons with no problem.    After downloading KDEN today from Flightbeam  FSX will not open but I immediately get the windows fatal error message. Have restarted many times and even uninstalled KDEN with the same result.   Wonder if the download was corrupt perhaps?

Help!

Download the latest Addon Manager from FlightBeam and/or FS Dreamteam (they both use the same).

Then, in that case, you need to download and run AppCrashView and post the latest crash here (if any). A link to this program can be found in the AVSIM CTD Guide located to the right of this forum under Hot Spots.

Have you moved your fsx.cfg to a temporary directory, restarted FSX and let the config rebuild?

Since the problem appears to be associated with your installation of FlightBeam's KDEN, I suggest you uninstall it. Start up FSX again and see if this fixes the problem.
