weird SID routing

Can anyone check to see if they have the same problem as me. I'm using navigraph the latest airac 1412.

Looks as though first fix D053A is before end of runway... try deleting that fix on the LEGS page and allowing D053G to be your first departure fix. If that works, drop a note to Richard at the Navigraph forum as a bug report.

Yes have exactly the same weird SID route as you. I cut out the first waypoint to get a more direct route and that worked O.K., but why the SID is as it is is a mystery.

I'm not sure why they opted to write that procedure in that manner but something about the placement of the intial waypoint is incorrect. Here is the actual text for the departure

My assumption is that D0053A is supposed to be DER (Departure End Runway) but the placement is incorrect. The Lat/Lon for that fix would need to be adjusted to match the runway end or just beyond in order for it to be read correctly.

 

 

 

Well technically you could change the coordinates of the waypoint in the SID File if you the proper LAT/LON. If you look in the FSX/PMDG/SID/STAR folder and look up that airport, you will see the waypoint listed there as a LAT/LON fix. If you adjust that it would move the waypoint. It may also be an airport alignment issue for some reason thats causing it to be slightly misplaced but adjusting the LAT/LON should correct that as well
