DX10 brings life to an old fav: the RA SF. 260

Featured Replies

The FSX DX10 cockpit bloom and shadows makes an amazing transformation to this favorite of mine, the RealAir SF. 260.  This single static screen shot does not do it justice; seeing these shadows slide about while the lighting blooms and fades brings life back to this oldie.

The above shot was done in 4x DSR mode which produces 4K sized screen shots; here is another DX10 4x DSR shot, the A2A WoP3 P-51 over MSE2 Utah.  Both were resized to 1600 x 900 for web posting.  Click on each for maximum viewing effect.

Totally agree. With the advent of DX10 cockpit shadows becoming so 'taken as read', the SF260 began to look a bit old. Thanks to SteveFX it's been resurrected. Hurrah!

Nice.
