777 wing root texture issue

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I was flying from O'hare airport when I noticed that the wing root texture seems to be missing, leaving a gap between the fuselage and the wing.

Can someone help me identify and fix this issue? Thank you!

Here are some photos:

There is no issue, there is no gap. That is paint. That is how it is in real life

If you have a look at his first pic  you can actually see the sky  from beneath the wing  so there is a gap

Just an update, I've tested this plane to fly from a different airport such as Boeing Field and SFO and the gap disappears. However, when I start my flight in ORD, the gap comes back. So I'm thinking this might be an isolated case concerning ORD scenery? I'm not sure.

I'm using the default FSX scenery with medium default ai traffic.

It could be memory issues. Is the Highmemfix in your FSX.cfg?

Additionally, that livery looks way too worn to be a default one. Perhaps the painter messed up one of the alphas...?

I had the same issue when the 777 first launched. Dialog back a few settings fixed it for me, which makes me think it was indeed a memory issue.

The windshields will disappear when this happens, as well.
