P3D v2.4 shadows at dusk FPS

Recommended Posts

Just an observation, at dawn/dusk, shadows seem to have an extreme effect on FPS for me in P3D v2.4 - I can rationalize that longer shadows impact more objects at those transition times, hence require a ton more computing power.  Minimizing which objects cast and receive shadows minimizes the issue.  Has anyone else observed this?

Thanks,

sg
