Minor 744v2-Related Update

Recommended Posts

For those of you who are not Facebook people, this was posted yesterday:

https://www.facebook.com/pmdgsimulations/posts/833588783347574

Please do not let this develop into a battle about personal preferences about Facebook, or the like. The linked post is public (meaning you do not have to have an account), and you could bookmark that page (better yet, the company FB page) and visit it periodically just as you've likely bookmarked this forum to visit it periodically.

Enjoy.

Thats great! I like that PMDG started sharing some information of how they develop their products as have been requested quite a few times by the community, hopefully they will consider doing some kind of "behind the scenes" video at some point.

Also! Rob should update his avatar on avsim he looks quite older than the current one *ducks*

That vest makes him look classier than the pilot's hat.

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

No. That information would be stickeyed here if it were PMDG-official.

That avatar picture was taken a little earlier this year, actually (Sept, I think, at the Udvar Hazy Smithsonian outing).

Don't let the glasses fool you. Plus, I believe this was late at night, as the sims are used for other training during normal business hours.

Thanks, Kyle!

Welcome.

Rob looks great! I bet he had some fun testing.  :P

Be nice if they updated their AVSIM PMDG forum...

I had a feeling someone would drag a negative angle into this. I debated not even mentioning it for that purpose.

In their defense, it wasn't quite worthy of the time it takes to write up a full post here, upload pictures, and then link to all of them. With Facebook that whole process is actually remarkably quick.

There's actually a faster way of knowing how a 744 and it's systems work, and without having to spend fortunes in LevelD sims - Aerowinx PSX :-)

Main Simulation Rig:

Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti, 1 TB & 500 GB M.2 nvme drives, Win11.

Glider pilot since 1980...

Avid simmer since 1992...

Kyle, I made a fair point. Otherwise, there's little use in having this forum.

Thanks Kyle for sharing. I can't wait for PMDG v2 to come out.
