Hey nice shots.  I'm in Canada and the winter ground textures look quite accurate for here as well.  Is this a global texture replacement?

I'm using GEP.  Which do you think is better?

Yes, and you can still get them.  Below is a great walk-through review, and then below that is the site you can still get them. You buy each season, but it all adds up to what you'd pay for just one program that has all seasons.  As the seasons change, you use the installer for that season, with a whole slew of custom textures JUST for that season....lots of choices.  I'm going to stay with these, after all :)

Here is a review...and the second link is where you can purchase them, still...

There are actually two WINTER graphic sets,  1> Winter and 2> Hard Winter. I like that it gives you a choice, as to what is happening out there...like for instance,....last year's Winter....I'd call that er...'hard'... :o  Like the review will point out, you can totally customize a specific region down to the 'T's.  You will see the mask in the interview, and that is what you work from, as you customize to your heart's content, and then install the sets to FS9.

At the bottom of the page for Volume 1, are the rest of the Volume's you'd need for the complete set.  If you click on the Spring set, it will also show you Set 2, which is the Autumn set.  There are five sets in all that makes the complete package.

Groovin, I just replaced GE Pro, with these.  I find the B.E.V. product,  more life-like in all seasons.  Personal pref, of course. They really do look fabulous, from 3,500 feet, right up to the highest FL's...very realistic.

Well, you can still buy them back...and I don't know where the word 'fun' came from to replace the world, 'use'....jeez..hate these keyboards for predictive word choices, sometimes they slip into the post....

Thank you very much for the links.  I wonder if they're still working on new ones.  The shots look fantastic.  I definitely think it looks better than GEP.  I like the customization that you can do and all the extra trees and autogen makes it a pretty good add on.

I'm doing my flights mainly around Europe at the moment because that's where most of my payware airports are.  Once I start doing North America, I'm going to purchase the bundle pack.

Thanks again for your help.

Used BEV many moons ago.  Always thought they were the best texture sets for FS9.

BEV stopped developing years ago.
