FLY II Fatal error

Recommended Posts

I just reinstalled FLY II and the ROTW DVD. I am surprised how much I am enjoying revisiting this old friend.

However, every once in a while I get a fatal error... here are the diagnostics.

Msg: Fatal error caused by .DLL "system\modules\pc\pydll.dll" in DLLIdle routine.
File: Dllman.cpp line 1619
Time: Fri Nov 21 17:09:06 2014
errno = 2 (No such file or directory)

Any advice?

Thanx in advance

Donald

Hi Donald,

I suggest you post your question on the ROTW website.

I also have had crashes but  can't help you.

Hope you get the problem sorted out.

if you do please post the reply here as some of us Fly II fans still check in from time to time.

regards,

Flyfisher

I might be able to help...

I saw a post in French which seemed to suggest removing the system\modules\pc\pydll.dll file. I did and it didn't seem to hurt anything. Haven't had another crash yet...

Donald,

Because of a HD crash I recently had to re-install Fly! II and used my ROTW DVDs.

Previously I had had the problem you described and  by removing that file the problem seems to have resolved.

3 days ago was invited for a short flight on a Bell 206 Long Ranger which was wonderful and has resulted in me trying to master the Fly! II 407
