Any good airports in fsx for Indonesia ?

Featured Replies

Having just watched worst place (best) place to be a pilot keen to now explore this area, can anyone recommend a good home base to use in Air Hauler that will give me spectacular mountain views and tricky landings ? Using perhaps my A2A 172 or Cherokee? Or would my Realair Duke or Legacy or Bn2 islander be a better choice of plane? Or the twin Otter?

I also have ftx global, would vector impove this anymore in this region

Lots of questions I know !

You might try this site - it has tons of scenery worldwide. Thinkin' of doin' some Suzi Air flights are ya?

Edit: That site is first hit with Google, which as  everyone knows, is your friend. (I didn't know it would be top of the list. It's top of MY list for sure).

Not Indonesia, but close by you can get (on sale) the excellent PNG Bush Trekker pack from Pacific Islands Simulation - which comes with some 40 airfields from beach strips to sloping jungle strips - and a few decent sized tarmac airports. Used to run an Air Hauler company there and didn't even get to all the airfields it contains. Plus you can get Holger Sandman mesh for PNG free from OzX to complete your setup.
