Saitek is working with Dovetail Games in beta testing the Steam version of FSX. It looks like from the information in the Saitek blog that Dovetail will be cleaning up bugs in FSX. The invitation was active as of 12/1/2014 at 12:30 PM, but I suspect that the closed beta has room for only a limited number of participants.

Lockheed Martin has cleaned 'em up pretty well, so why would anyone be interested in starting all over again? The future is here, now, and it's called Prepar3D.

Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

For those "entertainment gaming"  enthusiast whom are not eligible or require a Prepar3d type simulator, it sounds to me Dovetail is very interested in making any improvements it can. Thats very exciting.

Guys, please don't get this thread locked by arguing over which sim is best. Thanks.

I don't know how many people actually read the Saitek blog, but I wonder how many other 3rd party vendors (hardware and software) are involved in this closed beta?
