Reinstallation of FSX

Due to a problem I am forced to reinstall Fsx.

 

To get it right any advice on absolute add ons.

I like the guide at the following link - http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx. The only thing I would add is to run a registry cleaner after uninstalling.

 

Add addons one at a time and make sure it works before moving on to another. Commercial addons like FSDT, FlightBeam, etc., and Orbx/FTX should be reinstalled so that the proper registry entries can be made and license software installed. MSE photoscenery should not need to be reinstalled. Just relink the Scenery Library to the scenery.

Jim, I am not convinced that is what he is asking.  I think he wants to know what add-ons are essential...or shall we say recommended?

Only want the best results for a good setup.

 

Plan was

Orbx global vector and landclass.

Asn

Not sure about Rex textures

Plus individual airports.

 

So annoying as I had it running sweet for about a year.

You're listing the order in which i would install those add ons, looks correct to me.
