Recommended Posts

Hi Rob, thanks for pursuing this. The latest fix is working very well for me.

Cheers,

Someone's having allot of fun!

Ugh, fun no, but once it's done it'll be nice to be mouse free for the important operations of flight.  After this CS 777 is done, then onto the Airbus and then the Q400.  I'll eventually do some key GA aircraft also, but those are far far less demanding.

I'll make them all available on my web site when done for those with GF gear and these aircraft.

Cheers, Rob.

Hello.

I am not e specialist for pc and software. my problem was the same with the vertical clouds. The Fix of Rob works, but after i wasnt able to fly thru the clouds. So i turn back to the vertical clouds.

2 weeks later, i thought its time to clean up my pc with a tool to clean my registry (CCleaner free trial version)

Wooow stunning effect, no more vertical clouds, I dont know if thi is the solution but i am happy.

I'm going to close this thread since LM have posted an official fix.  This thread is getting to long and clearly some folks are not reading it from start to finish.

Here is the official fix from LM: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/topic/fix-for-cloud-issues-in-2-4/

I have removed the older filer (1st attempt at a fix).

Cheers, Rob.
