Carenado Sale

Recommended Posts

Good news.

Carenado has a 50% off sale on most of their X-Plane aircraft. Available at Carenado and the org. They are the two I know of.

Anyway, a great opportunity.

Happy Holidays!

Believe you can find even deeper Carenado aircraft discounts at some third party vendors such as PC Aviator, Simarket etc. May be worth checking. Last night I purchased 5 aircraft for under 30.00 bucks. Great deal.

Ralf , good XP twin piston is the Cessna 340 by Carenado.

I'd like to add twin piston. Any recommendations?

C337, one of their best airplanes.

I got the XP C340 - it's fine, nothing special. Wish it had 1 530 rather than 2 430's.

Seems slightly underpowered. At literally max power (not adhering to the numbers) I'm still well into the green arc at 8000ft. It should be in the yellow there.

Of course, their latest and best-est are NOT on sale

If I did not want the others last year I don't want them now, even at a reduced price

....disappointing :cray: :cray:

Do a search. You can go into plane maker and hop it up. Disable the FADEC mainly.

There's a FADEC in a 340?

If there is or not in the RW 340, there is in the X-Plane version. Which really never made sense to me or how their using the X-plane FADEC feature?

Bought the C90B , really awesome plane , can't wait also for the reality expansion pack by simcoders.

However It states that it's V1.1 , bought it from simmarket , am I missing something? (this plane was already updated to V3)

Some retail outlets are a bit... shall we say... slow with getting the latest versions up on their site. Please contact them about this.  We've sent out the latest files to all resellers.

Updates at Carenado are a bit tricky.  I bought my C208B from them directly earlier this month, and going back to my "Account" shows an update available.  I downloaded and installed the update and it messed up my panel and gauges along with my view settings.  It turns out that the "update" shown was for a previous version (not v3) and I finally restored things to normal by replacing the older .acf file with the original.  So while updates are available directly from Carenado if you buy directly from them, you must be careful and watch the dates on the files you obtain as "updates."
