Yes, indeed iron ....

X-Plane 10 with SkyMaxx Pro provides tremendous visuals, specially by the dusk, dawn, night, and PSX is incomparably the best Boeing 744 simulator ever made available for the PC :-)

Is that the famous PSX you keep talking about along with X-Plane . Seriously nice visuals, it looks so real, and smooth as well.

Yep!

I'm using it as well, but not with this gorgeous hardware... Half of my screen, in one of the views in PSX, has XP10, the bottom is a view of the PSX Instruments Panel.

PSX is driving:

- The flight dynamics and 6dof positioning of the aircraft model ( dummy ) in X-plane10

- The Weather, nicelly rendered in X-Plane 10 thx to SkyMaxx v2

- There's the option to inject the terrain topography into PSX, from the XP10 scenery, so than if you have 3d terrain effects enabled in XP10, and your taxiway / rw has

bumps, these will be "felt" by PSX's physics model. PSX has it's own topological database which will then be disabled...

The scenery in XP10 is extremely realistic, and specially at night and under adverse weather conditions, the combination is very very good!

But, remember, soaring is the >Kernel of flight!   Lufthansa used, back in the seventies / eighties to require their pilot candidates to own a glider license!  That was very well thought, IMO....

Difficult to evaluate that given that the camera is not even properly aligned with tghe external view. And... we don't really know what kind of projection is being used ....

I can tell you it can't be more precise than in PSX :-)

Jcomm, did you ever get any joy asking the guy who does PSX's weather if he'd think about adapting his engine to XP?
