Disabled HDR Anti Aliasing and Anistropic filter level down to 1x. Works like a charm, good frame rates and great graphics.

Sounds like FSX adjustments to me...  This is X-Plane

OK -my mistake for not opening the program and looking. At 71, your memory sometimes misses cues!

Very interesting!  I'll try the 346.22 drivers if I can find them (beta, not WHQL) and see a before and after with @torfih's settings.  I don't need framerate help, just graphics quality.

344.75 is the latest driver available for Windows 8.1 64 bit from nVidia, and no betas in the pipeline yet.  Just checked.

Has anyone found any advantage with the new MFAA (Multi-frame sampled anti-aliasing), or is that just for on-board CPU/GPU graphics?
