New version 2.6 - Shader version?

In the Debug section the manual recommends using the latest shader version 5, however, the drop down box lists Version 3 through Version 6.  Is Shader Version 6 not the latest version and if so should we select this one ?

yes the manual should really say select the highest version which will be the default so currently 6, I failedto update it.
