Rex4 Service Pack 4 released

Go get it guys - dont forget to dump your shaders folder also :)

 

Just an update guys, we have released Service Pack 4 / Texture Update # 2 for users to download.

You can download the update through the REX 4 Texture Direct interface or through our forum at:

Just a heads up update from inside rex4 menu system did not work - trying the zip file version from Their site now

Water looks much better now but not seeing any animations - special effects full - anyone else notice this ?

just installed the update successfully using the REX4 interface...

Ok this is what I have noticed below like 1500 ft water animations are present and sweet - above 1500 ft about - animation is gone thinking its a P3D thing not a rex thing - all in all much happier with this than what we had - thanks Rex team

Rich, previous versions you could see waves at 20,00ft , unrealistic. Thanks for the heads up downloading now

Welcome Guys - so Zoran your happy with stagnit water at elevation - I never saw wave animations before at any elevation higher than 1500ft ?

Yes , as the rivers had 40ft waves as well . I dont know why you didn't see them but it may have been my settings however I imported another users profile

Thanks for the tip Richard, waves are ok now. Indeed they do fade the higher I get which is ok from what I remember in RL. The only time you could see them at 10k ft is if there were large whitecaps flying over Lake Michigan. 

 

Tesselation also effect water too if I remember right.

At 44' elevation I think that we may have a problem at EGNL.  [Memo to self: Check ATIS for Weather, Wind and Tide Heights!].  Does anyone have any tips about flying float planes? :P
