As above post about Majestic Q400 working ok for me in FSX:SE but with no sounds ..... I installed an earlier version (v1.08) and it works perfectly in FSX:SE (with all sounds).     I think the current version will work fine in FSX:SE for others too, as I believe the sound issue was local to my machine.

So now my happy FSX:SE world is a perfect VFR playground, but also has a lovely Q400 to play with when I fancy something bigger!

Don't you have to select the directory manually though? When I select the FSX:SE directory it doesn't work.

So I was installing the new addon manager update. And long story short it wasn't showing up in FSX, so I decided to do a complete re-haul on FSDT shtuff and after uninstalling all the FSDT airports, my FSX.cfg and everything in the appdata/roaming/microsoft/FSX folder got reset. I cri evry tim.

Ultimate Terrain North America v2.  I was able to get UTX to work!

1. Go to FSX folder in SteamApps/Common and copy the Scenery.cfg file
2. Go to AppData\Roaming\Microsoft and open up the FSX-SE folder and paste the Scenery.cfg file in that folder.
3. Go back to the AppData\Roaming\Microsoft and right clicked on the FSX-SE and rename this folder FSX.
4. Go into the newly renamed FSX folder and rename the fsx_se cfg file to fsx.
5. Direct the UTX install exe to the main FSX folder in SteamApps\common.
6. After install go into the Setup Tool and make changes.
7. After everything is setup in UTX go back to rename the FSX folder found in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft directory to FSX-SE and also rename the fsx cfg back to fsx_se.

Now I'm trying to get GEX to install/work - no luck.  After install I get an Error 30.

SPAD works with my FSX SE, dual installation (switch panel, two radio panels, multi-panel).

simPlugins Panel Builder for MS Flight Simulator also works.   I don't have any of the add-ons, so I can't verify those.

UK2000 airports and Horizon Photoscenery - both very popular scenery payware but I can't find anything about FSX SE compatibility. Does anybody have any information?

I managed to install UK2000 London City airport without any problems on a virgin machine. I would image the others should install without any problems but can't say for sure about the others as i don't own them.

Anyone having problems with FS-Recorder? I am trying to record inputs to play back at a later stage, but FSX-SE doesn't seem to play with FS-Recorder.  Suggestions? Alternatives?

Did anyone try carrier landings with Steam? Not sure whether AICarriers package is required - if so does it work?.

I purchased the SE version. I went ahead and purchased Ultimate Terrain X Version 2.0 as well from the Flight1 store. I got excited because I was reading on here REX was working so I figure I would purchase UTX now and then REX later. Anyway UTX doesnt work.

Hopefully they fix it.

UTX 2.0 works but I'm getting black gauges on Ifly747 due to a missing Simconnect version.

I installed ImagineSim KCLT and it looks great in FSX SE. ImagineSim KATL installed but had no textures, I will keep testing. Both installers pointed directly to the Steam FSX folder during installation.
