Immersion doesn't work

hi

 

bought both Immersion and Precipitfx

see that it add's a lot of effects files in the sim

 

but i see nothing in the simulator

a friend that bought it says that it must change also the smokesystem of the cfg but in mine it has nothing changed

 

any help?

uninstall and reinstall the programs. make sure that you allowed them in fsx, Also check to see if they are trusted in the FSX.CFg and is also in the DLL.xml (appdat/local/microsoft/fsx) its something like that. if not you might have to turn some settings up like the special effects in the display settings.

Hi there!

  • Do you have a migrator tool of some sort enabled?
  • Is your FSX registry pointing in the good directory?
  • Can you see effectsbeginning with "fsfx_T7_" in your FSX "Effects" folder ?

No migrator tool

yes god directory

yes a lot if effects files fsfx_t7_

 

the info that i got is that he didn't change the [smokesystem] in the 777 aircraft.cfg

 

why?

Hi,

 

I have the same problem here, but when I look in the Aircraft.cfg it did change the [smokesystem] section with several line (smoke.0=.........until smoke.98=.....)

I don't know from where the problem come from...

 

I hope that a solution will come fast....

I thought i was working after a reinstalation of FSuipc, but strangly it worked for one time then desapeared again, in any case no volumetric light... is there a special setting to use in Fsuipc?

uninstalled it completly with the installer, then re-install it and it works

Hi,I have the same problem,I have seen in dll.xml but it don't add nothing and in fsx.cfg I don't know what it must be fill in. please help me.

My effects texts are installed in the T7 config file. But upon looking at the "Effects Folder," there is no sub-folder containing the effects dll files for the 777 as there is for the 737. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck.....
