Snow texture without any snow fallen recently

Hello all

 

I love orbx global, but there is one thing very odd.

It shows at some points on the ground snow texture, while, for the last 2 years, it hasn't snowed at all. Is this because of the season setting in fsx? Or deeper coded somewhere??

 

Any advice? Cause it looks, well. Stupid..

Try flying in Toronto, you get snow all over the place, which is normal this time of year (but not this year so far), and then you get a big green square in the middle of the city.....looks very odd.

It's hard coded, and you can't do anything practical about it. If you have time and patience just take all fall ground textures and copy-paste them as ground winter textures.
