Drzewiecki New York Airports XP

Featured Replies

Thanks,   I uploaded that last night. I'm currently working on JFK, and as soon as that's done, KEWR.  The other smaller airports are filled in nicely.  If I have a break from work, Ill have all 3 done by wed.

Thanks for your great work. It really enhances them dramatically, since this was the biggest issue I found on them.

With these static planes  they at least look like busy airports.

I just added a file to add aircraft to JFK this morning.  Im working on Newark now. should have that by tomorrow sometime.

Its getting hard to find the correct airlines/planes that should be showing up here. OpensceneryX seems to be centered mostly on Europe. Is there another free library to use, that will have more us based carriers?

Really great package. But I am getting FSX type taxiway lights (i.e. floating orbs of colour) not the normal excellent XP lights. Anyone else got the same issue?

Cheers

I also have the same issue, but I see it as a plus, considering JFK doesn't have blue lights IRL and that default XP airports look like big blue blobs!

How's the performance?  The KJFK payware scenery that I got was horrible visual and performance wise.

+1,  NYCX  and Airport = 2 FPS :(

and I have a very powerful PC.

You have to reduce your settings then :-/

In New York the real performance issues are New York, not the Airports by itself. My best resits I got wirh World2Xp and limiting the number of objects and distance.

No thanks,  I have my setting very high and still get 25/30 FPS with most of my addons

(orbix etc)   even with mega Sao Paulo which has a lot more building the NYC I still get 30fps. FSdream also are FPS killers so I just don't use them.

You are absolutely right. the problem is flying from NY airports without flying over Manhattan is kind of boring. I am running FSX on a 6 cores @ 4.9 ghz mem 2400mhz and quad SLI. can't imagining in a lower PC.

You are in the X-Plane forum. For FSX you should ask in the FSX forum ;-)
