Landing the CRJ-700 as South Lake Tahoe...

Smallish commercial jets land at South Lake Tahoe every day. Landing on runway 36 means you come over the mountains from the south, drop RAPIDLY toward the runway, and HOPE you've set up the airplane so you can land without running off the end of the darned pavement!

At least, that's how I see it...
