Is there an 'FSX on a Laptop' forum?

Recommended Posts

Laptops have improved to the point were I think I can stop using desktops.  This is analogous to phone landlines being replaced by mobile cell phones.

I'm specifically interested in tip on how to run FSX on the latest Intel integrated graphic chips.

Is there a laptop forum?   Thanks.

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

There is no dedicated forum for FSX on a laptop, but you can ask your question either in the FSX forum or in the Hardware forums, where you can choose which subsection is most suitable.

FSX & P3D do not run at high frame rates on the Intel chips. I have an MSI Apache Pro with the latest Intel Chip & Nvidia GTX860m with Optimus. I get about 12fps with the Intel and 40-50 fps with the Nvidia on FSX & P3D....
