Wingtip Vortices Setting on cfg file

Recommended Posts

Hi

Need some help and clarification on enabling wingtip vortices for aircrafts such as PMDG since it by default disabled.

Do i need to disable "vaportrail_l=" and "vaportrail_r=" on all 3 aircraft.cfgs?(-300, 200LR and 200F) seperately?

Also has is there any concern where enabling these settings cause OOM's?

Thanks

Hi,

You need to remove those lines in all 3 aircraft.cfg files.

I'm really not worried about OOM errors. Our effects take less than 5mb of VAS

Let me know the results!

Thanks Keven

I had a few OOM's with a few long haul flights and it was fairly consistent i had to repeat these flights about 4 times before having the re-add those lines after which i did not get the OOM error and was able to complete the flight.

Not sure why
