Global AI Ship Traffic FSX and P3D News and Support

I think I found the problem :

[fltsim.10]
title=AI_Conni_II
model=Conni_M2
texture=Denmark
ui_manufacturer=Henrik Aa Nielsen
ui_type=Fishing_Boat

[fltsim.11]
title=AI_Conni_II
model=Conni_M
texture=Denmark
ui_manufacturer=Henrik Aa Nielsen
ui_type=Fishing_Boat_Wooden_House

Both have the title of AI_Conni_II

I changed the fltsim.11 one to AI_Conni_III problem is solved , thanks for pointing me to the sim.cfg

Here's a screenshot of the problem I was mentioning. This is in P3D v3. I installed everything exactly in the order that it was written.

It sure looks like you need to download the 'Fix for Ship Wakes P3D 2.5'. You can find it in the top of the page.

Also, you forgot to close the door :wink:

Ahhhh, please disregard that door, lolz! :) I wasn't sure or not to install that file since it says P3D v2.5 and I have v3, but I went ahead anyways and it fixed it! Looking great now. :) Thanks a lot.

Hallo Manfred (Bluemarlin)

I have downloaded a few of your ships (to begin with) and I pretty much understand where to put the Model, effects and scenery-world-scenery, but where do I put the Route data files?

Since installing Henrik's ships, I've gotten hooked on having as much ship traffic as possible all over the world, so your ships will be a perfect addon to it.

Hi Jorn,

the Route Data files must not be installed - described in the readme file.

They are only for those who want to change the routes or timetables.

The kml-file "Routes_ShipsXXXXXX" contains the Google Earth file of the ship route.

The txt-file "Plans_ShipsXXXXX" contains the timetable and the txt-file "Boats_ShipsXXXXXXX" contains the instruction which ship should run after the route and timetable. Out of this three files the BGL-file wil be compiled which will be copied to /scenery/world/scenery.

An english manual how to change/create routes and timetables you can find at: http://lc0277.gratisim.fr/boat/ and a german language manual for this at:

http://simdocks.de/index.php/produkte-products/publikationen.html

So, in other words, if I copy the model, effects and world scenery to the respective folders in FSX, I should be able to see them in FSX?

Nice work (as usual) Henrik, we can't have too many ships. :-) I have noticed that you have a lot of freighters / cargo ships, are they easier to make than ie ferries, yachts, cruise ships etc? I know I have asked before, but a Cruiseship like Oasis of the Seas in the Caribbean would be a welcome addition to the fleet :-) Also some huge yachts in the Mediterrain like Al Mirqab, which I saw around Skiathos, and some local ferries in DK (Yes, I'm "local") like the Hou - Samsø ferry,

I do have some pictures of AL Mirqab if that's any help.

Regards and keep up the very good work
