I am a little behind on where the project is these days.  I think I read that there was going to be another significant update.  Is this the case?  If so will it be an all in one installer to capture all previous updates so everything is up to date?  Finally, any idea of a release date?

Hi - yes, there is a significant update just about to be launched - depending on the feedback from beta testers it will be launched next friday or the following friday. It will be a complete package but divided in two downloads as it is quite big.

Is the new update going to cover FSX:SE as well, or is it for P3D? Heck, I'm not complaining as I enjoy the current Global Shipping for FSX:SE as it is. Just asking.  Thanks.

The update will work in both P3D and FSX.

This Friday, next Friday or the second Friday in July.  Really not concerned.  This package will be worth the wait whatever Friday it's released on.

The 15th... After that I will be travelling and unable to upload for several weeks... But I think we are almost there - the Beta testers are not finding a lot 😄

Some more testing, I've left Europe behind and explored the coasts off Ecuador, Japan, South Korea, China, Bahamas, Florida and Cuba. A couple of things I noticed were the smoke stack on the Angela and an apparent lack of lighting on the the Sedna Desgagnes?

A bit more testing, firstly off Cardiff in the Bristol Channel looking for the Volvo racing yachts, plenty of leisure going on there, then to the business end of the shipping industry off Egypt and in to the Suez Canal.

Looking great! Does anyone know what the total number of ships (including the forthcoming update) is going to be? Currently in FSX:SE I believe there's about 800. (Original add-on and the update in 2017?)

It dépends how you count... unique mdl or sim.cfg entries - the later should be a bit above 1000 but I stopped counting.
