Strange NGX Instruments

Recommended Posts

Hey, so.  This happens when I load up the 738 in the United (merger) repaint from the PMDG website.

It only does this on this repaint, I can switch to another one without restarting FSX and it goes back to normal just fine.  Not a helluva big deal, but I am mildly curious.  Thanks.

I believe that's a config option in the real aircraft....It mimics the classic 737 panel layout in some respects. If I recall it can be modified in the FMC?

That is the 'EFIS MAP' set up - you can edit that in the FMC by going to PMDG SETUP, displays and change from EFIS/MAP to the regular style.

Are you referring to the different layout of the gauges? Indeed, if that be the case, this is a setup issue, selectable in the Menu within the CDU lists of aircraft equipment, display, etc.

Just so you guys know United recently change the Instrumentation to the "new style" that you see in 99% of all the other NG's.
